Job Description

•  Must be able to work as a team or independently right away.
•  Ability to accurately measure home dimensions.
• Must be able to read work order and diagrams.
• Must check materials with work order/punch lists.
• Proficient at being a “cut person” including brake operation.
• Knowledge of material list and cut lists.Basic install knowledge of windows, vinyl and James Hardie siding.
• Be able to install vents and pipe flashings with minimal supervision.
• Be able to install J channel, starter strip, corners, house wrap, siding panels and window tape.
• Communication with team leader, supervisor and/or production department on a daily basis regarding the status of timeline, material issues, other production issues, etc.

Responsibilities

• Arriving to work on time every day.
• Observing our company's policies, procedures and safety manual.
• Working long hours during the peak season.
• Representing Fortified Roofing with professionalism when dealing with homeowners and general public.
• Ability to meet an early start time during peak times

Experience Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• Provide own hand tools
• Identify Problems & identify solutions to accomplish work
• Work outside in a variety of weather conditions
• Good physical health, with good vision and spatial awareness
• Ability to lift 50 lbs +
• Good balance and safety awareness
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to work within timelines
